PH10002/52: Properties of matter University of Bath Properties of Matter gives an insight into how the interplay between kinetic and potential energy at the atomic level governs the formation of different phases and demonstrates how the macroscopic properties of materials can be derived from considerations of the microscopic properties at the atomic level.

PH20105: Experimental Physics and Computing 2 University of Bath The aims of Experimental Physics and Computing 2 are to develop further student confidence and competence in experimental laboratory skills, data processing, written and oral presentation skills and the use of scientific computer packages. A further aim is to reinforce elements of second level Physics units by providing experimental examples in these areas. The unit also aims to introduce and develop structured programming skills in a high-level language as a tool for the numerical solution of physical problems.

PH30077: Electromagnetism 2 University of Bath Electromagnetism 2 is focused on the propagation and manipulation of electromagnetic waves and their interaction with matter in the part of the electromagnetic spectrum spanning radio waves to the ultraviolet.
